Effect of Potassium in Hypertension

Salt consumption is not only responsible for high blood pressure, but consumption of less potassium is also responsible for hypertension. This is revealed in a research. Researchers have found that potassium rich diets taking girls, blood pressure was low. Sodium has no effect at blood pressure alone whereas emphasize given at low amount of sodium in the diet in children worldwide.

According to the dietary findings which reduce hypertension, the adolescents who consume 3,000 milligrams of salt daily, have no adverse effect on their blood pressure, whereas the adolescents who consume 2,400 milligrams or more of potassium per day, their blood pressure were low.

Be aware that the World Health Organization (WHO) advises people not to consume more than two thousand milligrams of sodium. Researchers at the end of adolescence studied the effects of sodium and potassium blood pressure on the long-term diet. The girls who consumed 2,400 mg or more of potassium per day found their low blood pressure.

Our ancestors were use Rock salt which is rich source of potassium. That was the reason why they weren't suffer from hypertension.
